Arsenal set to hold talks to conclude transfer of 27-year-old star

By

Turkish side Besiktas are set to rekindle interest in David Ospina and hold talks with Arsenal over signing the Colombian international, Turkish Football has revealed.

Last week, president Fikret Orman revealed that the Gunners' asking price of £3million is too high but they are expected to make a new offer to secure the services of the 27-year-old.

The Colombian has failed to secure a regular place in Arsene Wenger's squad since joining from Nice in the summer of 2014.

And he is expected to again warm the bench if he stays at the Emirates as Petr Cech continues to be the Frenchman's number one.

He enjoyed a very successful tournament in the Copa America and is determined to leave the North Londoners to enjoy regular first team football next season.
