Revealed: Arsene Wenger's new striker target after Jamie Vardy snubbed Emirates move

By

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has turned his attention to Olympique de Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi after failing to sign Jamie Vardy.

According to journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, the 22-year-old is now the top target on the Frenchman's summer shopping list.

The youngster is also a target for Chelsea but will discuss his future only after the end of the Euro 2016 Championship.

"I don't think about that -- I prefer to concentrate 100 percent on the Euros," Batshuayi was quoted as saying by ESPN at the start of the month.

"Then we will see what happens.

"Everybody likes the Premier League. It has a lot of spectacle, a lot of goals and many good players. It is natural that every good player is attracted by that league."
