Talks held: Arsenal meet with agent of £24million star ahead of potential transfer to the Emirates

Arsenal have made contact with the representatives of Sao Paulo attacking midfielder Marquinhos Cipriano ahead of a possible move in the summer transfer window, ESPN Brazil has reported.

The youngster has impressed this season as he scored 14 goals for Sao Paulo’s Under-17 side.

He is considered by many as one of the best young players in Brazil and has a buy-out clause of £24million.

Italian champions Juventus have also held talks with the player's representatives although at the moment it seems Sao Paulo are not ready to sell one of their best youngsters.

The 17-year-old is in fact expected to soon join Sao Paulo's senior squad.
