Two-year contract agreed: Impressive defender to put pen to paper for Arsenal

By

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin will snub a move to Barcelona to sign a new contract with the club, Metro has revealed.

The 21-year-old enjoyed the best campaign of his career after securing a regular place in Arsene Wenger's team last season.

Spanish giants Barcelona were interested in signing the youngster but he rejected their offer as he wants to stay at Arsenal.

"I am very happy at Arsenal," Bellerin said earlier this month.

"I renewed last year and have many years left. I am very happy. In football you can always spend a lot, but I'm in the Arsenal, giving everything for the club.

"I do not think about going to anywhere else."
