Two Manchester United stars could leave to join Arsenal as Jose Mourinho plans squad overhaul

By

Manchester United stars Danny Blind and Morgan Schneiderlin could leave the club with Arsenal interested in signing them both according to recent reports.

The Dutchman said at the end of last month that he is already looking forward to working with new manager Jose Mourinho but the Portuguese might opt for other solutions for his defensive department.

"I am looking forward to working with Mourinho," Blind told NOS at the end of May.

"We will have to wait and see whether anything changes for me.

"I will just give my all and work hard. Mourinho is a manager who has achieved a lot and I am keen to work with him.

"I might not be as big as Pepe, but I think I have shown in the Premier League that I can hold my own defensively."

The Frenchman, 26, was already a target for the Gunners last summer but they didn't consider him value for money.

Now available at a much cheaper price, he could make a move to the Emirates to fill the void in midfield left by the departure of Tomas Rosicky, Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta.
