Arsene Wenger speaks out and provides major update on one of his primary summer targets

By

Club manager Arsene Wenger has told Arsenal fans to forget about Jamie Vardy as he is expected to stay at Leicester City.

The Gunners have made an official bid to sign the 29-year-old and a medical was supposed to take place at the club before the striker decided to shift his focus on the Euro 2016 campaign.

Ex-Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour confirmed last week that the Englishman will probably be at Leicester City next season and this has now been confirmed by the Arsenal boss.

"Jamie Vardy is, at the moment, at Leicester and on what I know, he will stay at Leicester," the Frenchman said in an interview with Japanese television.
