Mills: Jamie Vardy's transfer to Arsenal should be done and dusted

By

Former Leeds United right-back Danny Mills says the chance to join Arsenal should not be turned down by Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

The 29-year-old left the country without giving a reply to manager Arsene Wenger.

He is expected to take a final decision over his future at the end of the Euro 2016 Championship but Mills believes the Arsenal boss might decide to look at other options.

"I would have walked down the M1 to Arsenal," Mills told BBC Sport.

"I find it bizarre.

"If you're agent's speaking to Arsenal, the first question is: 'Do you want to go to Arsenal?'

"It should be done and dusted. To turn around and say: 'I'm going to think about it'… I don't think Arsene Wenger will like that."
