Former Arsenal striker Alan Smith has urged Jamie Vardy to leave Leicester City to join the Gunners.
The Englishman refused to give Arsenal an answer before the start of the Euro 2016 Championship after the Gunners triggered a release clause in his contract.
But Smith believes this will be Vardy's only chance to make a move to the Emirates.
"I know Leicester are in the Champions League but Arsenal are one of the biggest clubs in the country," Smith told talkSPORT.
"I will probably upset Leicester fans, but my advice is I think he should grab it [the chance to join Arsenal].
"The chances are this this kind of opportunity won't come again and you have got to make the very most of your opportunities during the course of your career."
