One of Arsenal's main summer targets gives update ahead of potential Emirates move

Wolfsburg defender Ricardo Rodriguez says his focus is on the Euro 2016 Championship and will discuss a potential move to the Emirates at the end of the tournament.

The Swiss international is a confirmed target for the Gunners amid rumours that boss Arsene Wenger wants him to become the second Swiss player to join after Granit Xhaka.

But he insists that he is not thinking about the transfer market.

"I'm only thinking about the European Championship," he told Sport Bild.

"What will be after that, will be."

Last week, the left-back joked that he would have no problems to settle down at the Emirates after the Gunners signed Switzerland team-mate Granit Xhaka.

"That [joining Arsenal] would be exciting, yes, especially because the room arrangement at Arsenal would be fixed as well," he said.
