Double Olympic champion confident that Jamie Vardy will fit in well at Arsenal

By

Double Olympic champion and Arsenal fan Mo Farah is confident Jamie Vardy would be a very good signing for the club.

The Leicester City striker has received an offer from the Gunners but he is yet to accept it according to the BBC.

He boarded the flight with the rest of the England squad on Monday as the Three Lions get ready for the Euro 2016 Championship.

"Vardy will fit in well, he's scored so many goals for Leicester and we need someone like him," Farah told the BBC.

"He can play alongside [Alexis] Sanchez, [Olivier] Giroud and [Danny] Welbeck.

"It is exciting."
