Ian Wright: I want this 24-goal-a-season world class striker to play for Arsenal

By

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has urged his former club to sign Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy during the summer transfer window.

The Englishman was one of the most impressive strikers this season as he scored 24 goals to help his club win the English Premier League.

According to L'Equipe, the 29-year-old is together with Gonzalo Higuain and Alvaro Morata one of the three strikers identified by manager Arsene Wenger as a possible target this summer.

But Wright wrote on Twitter that the Leicester City man would be the perfect signing for the Gunners.

"Sorry Leicester but I want Vardy at Arsenal", he wrote.
