Arsenal have joined the race to sign Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco, Calciomercato.it has revealed.
According to the article, the Gunners are ready to offer £20million to sign the 22-year-old.
The youngster impressed during the Champions League final as he was the one to restore parity in the second half to cancel Sergio Ramos' first-half opener.
After joining Atletico Madrid from Monaco, the player said: "Simeone is someone I wanted to work with, he is one of the most important coaches in the world.
"He told me he liked my ability to defend and also to attack in one-on-ones.
"I know he was a good player and as a coach he is one of the best. I wanted to be with him."
