Confirmed: Arsenal midfielder will leave the club after holding talks with manager Arsene Wenger

By

Arsenal midfielder Dan Crowley will be loaned out once more by manager Arsene Wenger, the youngster himself has confirmed.

The 18-year-old spent last season on loan at Barnsley and was described by then-manager Lee Johnson as "the best 18-year-old I've ever seen".

But with little space available in the Arsenal midfield, he will be loaned out for at least one more season.

"I have spoken to the boss [Wenger] and he says I'm not physically ready for the Premier League just yet," Crowley told the Coventry Telegraph.

"That's fair enough and I completely agree because it's a tough league on your body and there's so much running that people don't realise.

"So I will work on that and hopefully be ready when my time comes. I don't want to be pushed in and not be ready. When I get my chance I want to make sure I'm ready and take it."
