Arsenal head of academy Andries Jonker urges Arsene Wenger to sign another Swiss international

By

Arsenal are reportedly ready to make a move to sign Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez in the summer transfer window.

According to Kicker Online, Arsenal head of academy Andries Jonker is an admirer of the left back.

Jonker was assistant coach at Wolfsburg from 2012 to 2014 and was impressed by the Swiss international.

But the Gunners will face competition if they make a move to sign the 23-year-old.

Borussia Dortmund are also rumoured to be interested and are ready to offer a very important contract to the player.

Manchester United were heavily linked with the player last summer and they might also decide to join the battle to secure his services.
