Juventus director speaks out about the possibility of Arsenal target Alvaro Morata leaving the club

By

Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta says the Serie A champions will fight hard to keep striker Alvaro Morata at the club.

A target for Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain according to reports, the 23-year-old is expected to return to Real Madrid through the Spanish giants' buy-back option in his contract.

And Marotta says Juventus would have to find a new striker if the youngster returns in Spain.

"We would be delighted to keep the Spaniard here in Turin," Marotta told Il Mattino.

"He is a pure talent who will soon become a champion.

"We will do our utmost best to keep him but it doesn't just depend on what we want because Real Madrid can activate their buy-back option.

"If they do we will have to evaluate the situation."
