Bayern Munich star issues statement on future amid Arsenal and Liverpool interest

Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Mario Gotze will not leave the club this summer.

Gotze, who has parted ways with his agent Volker Struth at SportsTotal, is a target for Arsenal and Liverpool according to reports in Italy.

But he says he wants to work with new manager Carlo Ancelotti and that he is working extremely hard to be in top shape for next season.

"I look forward to the new season in Munich," Gotze told Bild Sport.

"I will do everything possible to be in top shape for my first training session under Carlo Ancelotti.

"I thank SportsTotal for a very good cooperation with many highlights and great memories that have shaped my career decisively."
