Roma confirm Arsenal star may extend Serie A stay beyond the summer

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will extend his loan for one more season at Roma, has revealed.

With Petr Cech as regular and David Ospina as backup, manager Arsene Wenger has decided to allow the 26-year-old to stay in the Serie A.

The Poland international will face competition from new signing Alisson Becker at the club after the 23-year-old agreed to leave Internacional to join the Giallorossi.

Meanwhile, Cristian Ansaldi's agent Francisco Culasso has confirmed that Roma and Internazionale are both interested in the 29-year-old who is expected to stay in the Serie A after a positive spell at Genoa.
