Paris Saint-Germain president confirms Arsenal target is free to leave

By

Paris Saint-Germain winger Ezequiel Lavezzi is free to leave the club, president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed.

The 30-year-old has one year left in his contract with the French giants with Valencia also reported to be interested.

The player's desire is to make a return to the Serie A with Napoli but a move back to the Stadio San Paolo is unlikely.

"He's got one year left on his contract," Al-Khelaifi told reporters.

"If clubs are interested, we'll discuss with them.

"It will also be up to him, because we don't want to block him after all he's done for the club."
