Arsenal turn attention to Manchester United striker target after suffering Benzema and Cavani blow

By

Arsenal are reportedly close to completing a deal for Dynamo Moscow forward Alexander Kokorin before the transfer window shuts, Metro has reported.

The Manchester United and Tottenham target is boss Arsene Wenger's new objective for the last few weeks of this summer's transfer window.

Recent reports have claimed that Arsenal have failed in their bid to bring Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema to the Emirates with Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani also rejecting a move to North London.

The Gunners have only scored two goals in their first three Premier League games of the season and will next face a tricky away game against Newcastle United.
