Arsenal will announce the signing of Real Madrid star Karim Benzema on Tuesday, according to the Daily Star.
Manager Arsene Wenger has again refused to confirm if Arsenal are close to signing a new striker during Friday's press conference.
But recent reports have claimed that the Gunners have reached an agreement with the Spanish giants to secure the services of the 27-year-old striker.
On Thursday, Sky Sports pundit Rodney Marsh revealed that Real Madrid have accepted Arsenal's latest offer for the Frenchman.
"I had a phone call from a mate of mine, and he's been right on many things, and he said that he believes Real Madrid have accepted a bid somewhere in the region of £48million for Benzema from Arsenal," Marsh is quoted as saying.
"In the past this guy has always been right, he's never been wrong yet, so we'll have to wait and see."
