Arsenal have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Karim Benzema, with Real Madrid accepting an offer of £48m for the France striker, talkSPORT has reported on Wednesday.
According to the article, a source close to former Sky Sports pundit Rodney Marsh revealed that the Spanish giants have accepted Arsenal's latest offer for the Frenchman.
"I had a phone call from a mate of mine, and he's been right on many things, and he said that he believes Real Madrid have accepted a bid somewhere in the region of £48million for Benzema from Arsenal," Marsh is quoted as saying.
"In the past this guy has always been right, he's never been wrong yet, so we'll have to wait and see."
