By

Palermo are reportedly in negotiations with Arsenal regarding the transfer of Joel Campbell, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The article claims that club chairman Maurizio Zamparini has landed in London to negotiate the transfer of the striker who is expected to leave the club in the summer.

The Costa Rica international joined the Gunners in the summer of 2011 but never enjoyed regular first-team football at the Emirates.

He was loaned out to FC Lorient, Real Betis, Olympiakos and Villarreal in recent seasons.

According to reports in England, Palermo are ready to offer £7m to secure the services of the 23-year-old.
