Arsenal table fresh £45m bid for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema

Arsenal are still chasing Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema and are ready to offer £45m to sign the Frenchman, TuttoMercatoWeb has revealed.

Boss Arsene Wenger told reporters last week that he's not interested in signing the 28-year-old but recent reports have claimed that the Gunners will sign at least one more player before the end of the transfer window.

On Friday, Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli wrote on Twitter that the striker wants to move to the Emirates with a decision expected to be taken early next week.

So far, Arsenal have only signed former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.
