Arsenal to replace David Ospina with £4.3m Spanish goalkeeper

Arsenal have tabled a transfer bid for Olympiakos goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez, according to Metro.

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech played the full 90 minutes against West Ham United last week with David Ospina on the bench.

The Colombian's future at the Emirates is uncertain with reports claiming that he is not ready to spend a full campaign on the bench.

And with Wojciech Szczesny loaned out to Roma, boss Arsene Wenger wants to add another quality goalkeeper to his squad and is ready to pay Roberto's £4.3m release clause.
