Arsene Wenger: Injury update on Wilshere, Welbeck, Rosicky and Bellerin

By

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Alexis Sanchez is fit and ready to face Crystal Palace this weekend.

Having the Chilean back will be a huge lift for Arsenal after last week's disappointing defeat at home against West Ham United.

Defender Hector Bellerin is also available but striker Danny Welbeck is still ruled out although the Englishman is expected to be back for the home game against Liverpool.

"Hector Bellerin is back and is available for Sunday," Wenger told the club's official website.

"Danny Welbeck is making good progress, but is still not available.

"We said Jack [Wilshere] would be out for four weeks, and he's in the second week now so he's on schedule.

"Tomas [Rosicky] has had surgery on his knee. His agent said he will be out for one or two months, but it will be longer. How long exactly, we don't know yet.

"Alexis Sanchez is fit, he's been working hard and is ready for the weekend."
