Arsenal still in pole position to sign £10m Manchester United and Valencia target

By

Arsenal are strong favourites to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.

According to reports in Italy, the French giants will sell the 30-year-old during this summer's transfer window in order to avoid losing him on a free next season.

The former Napoli man is also a target for Manchester United, Liverpool and Valencia.

He has a market transfer value of £10m and as confirmed by his agent in July, his dream is to make a return to the Serie A with Napoli.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, however, made it clear that he doesn't want to re-sign the Argentinean and this places Arsenal in a strong position to secure his services.
