Arsenal ready to complete major transfer for Liverpool and Genoa target

By

Arsenal are ready to make a surprise move for Roma star Juan Iturbe, according to reports in Italy.

The youngster is also a target for Liverpool, Genoa and Fiorentina who want the player in order to avoid further problems with Roma over the Mohammed Salah transfer.

The 22-year-old joined Roma from Verona during last summer's transfer window but failed to live up to expectations in his first campaign at the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma would like to keep the player and they have in fact rejected an offer made by Atletico Madrid at the start of June.

But Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to offer £21m to sign the player.
