Arsenal and Manchester United given green light to sign Paris Saint-Germain star

By

Arsenal have been given the all clear to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The arrival of Angel Di Maria from Manchester United means that there is no place for the former Napoli star in Laurent Blanc's starting line-up.

Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked with the 30-year-old at the start of the summer but it is a known fact that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been a long term admirer of the player.

The Argentine is available for £10m and would add experience to the Arsenal offensive department.
