Olivier Giroud: Young Arsenal striker has fantastic potential

By

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud says Jeff Reine-Adelaide will have a bright future ahead of him at the Emirates.

The 17-year-old was one of the most impressive players for the Gunners against Wolfsburg in the Emirates Cup.

He assisted Theo Walcott for Arsenal's only goal and was the standout performer in the game.

And according to Giroud, the youngster can play an important role for the Gunners this season.

"I knew that he was in the under-17 European Championship winning side last summer," Giroud is quoted as saying by Yahoo! News.

"We have seen him on the pitch recently and he has shown his qualities. I think he's quite mature for his age.

"He's got a really good mentality and if he's listening to the advice around him from his teammates, he could improve very quickly. His potential is fantastic."
