Arsenal and United dealt major blow in pursuit of Real Madrid stars

By

Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez says Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema will not leave the club in the summer.

The Welshman has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford at the start of the month with Arsenal eager to make a move for the French striker.

But Benitez insists that the two players will not be sold during the summer transfer window.

"I'm not going to talk about offers," Benitez told reporters.

"Everything is well and he's [Gareth Bale is] going to have a good season with us, I'm sure.

"Gareth is a huge player for us and I know that he's happy.

"[Benzema?] My answer is that I think Benzema is going to stay with us. I'm very happy with him."
