Arsenal in shock move for £50m-rated Real Madrid and Liverpool target

By

Arsenal are preparing to hijack Liverpool's move for the German World Cup winner, Marco Reus, the Telegraph has revealed.

The 26-year-old is also a top target for Liverpool and Real Madrid and has a market transfer value of £50m.

At the start of the month, the midfielder declared that he was looking forward to starting a new season with the German giants.

"With pre-season training starting again, excitement for the new season is building up," he said during the launch of the new jersey.

"I really look forward to stepping onto the pitch at Signal Iduna Park, seeing all those black-yellow fans.

"The new shirt is great, and I like the subtle design with the stripes across the chest. There's no doubt we will enjoy wearing this new kit throughout the 2015/16 season."
