Barcelona to challenge Arsenal for £11.5m centre-back and £8m striker

By

Barcelona are ready to make a move for Arsenal, Milan and Juventus target Aymen Abdennour.

According to L'Equipe, the Spanish giants are ready to sign the 25-year-old and let him stay on loan at Monaco until the end of the season.

That's because a potential move to the Camp Nou would mean that the centre-back would not be able to make his debut until January when the club’s FIFA-imposed transfer ban ends.

Barcelona are also expected to add Arsenal target Fernando Llorente to their squad, Calciomercato.com has revealed.

A target also for Manchester United, the 30-year-old will leave Juventus in the summer and would prefer a return to the Spanish Liga.
