Arsenal make £13m offer to sign Manchester United target

By

Arsenal have reportedly submitted a £13m offer for Ezequiel Garay, Express Sport has revealed.

Also linked with a possible move to Old Trafford, the 28-year-old is currently in action with Argentina in the Copa America.

The defender is also a target for Valencia as a replacement for Nicolas Otamendi who is expected to leave the club during the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand is convinced midfielder Jack Wilshere will snub any offers made by Manchester City.

"Arsenal can't sell him, they just can't sell him," Ferdinand is quoted as saying by Goal.com.

"That's Mr Arsenal right there. He is Arsenal, he is living and breathing Arsenal. He doesn't want to leave. Fans will pull the place down."
