Former midfielder Paul Merson has again insisted that Arsenal are in desperate need of a new goalkeeper.
David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny both endured below-par campaigns at the Emirates last season with the Colombian rumoured to be on his way to Fenerbahce.
And Merson says someone like Chelsea's Petr Cech would be the perfect signing ahead of the summer transfer window.
"I like Petr Cech. He would be a great signing," Merson told The Sport Review.
"He is still one of the top goalkeepers in the world.
"If you look at the goalies at the top this season, they've saved their teams bundle of points.
"I don't really think the Arsenal goalkeepers have saved bundle of points."
