Charlie Wyett: I think Morgan Schneiderlin will be joining Arsenal

By

The Sun reporter Charlie Wyett has revealed that Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin could be Arsenal's second signing of the summer.

It seems almost certain that Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech will become Arsenal's first summer signing and 25-year-old Schneiderlin could follow according to Wyett.

"I think Morgan Schneiderlin will be joining Arsenal," he told talkSPORT.

"He would be a good signing along with Petr Cech."

The Frenchman is also a target for Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United and has confessed that he is eager to feature in next season's Champions League.

"The goal is to stay in England," Schneiderlin told After Foot RMC.

"It is a championship that I like and where I have a lot of fun. If I leave Southampton, it is for a club that plays better than the Europa League.

"There are ongoing discussions but nothing is done. But of course the Champions League is my goal. If I leave Southampton it will be for a club in the Champions League."
