Promising striker snubs Liverpool and Arsenal to join Atletico Madrid

By

Luciano Vietto has snubbed the chance to come to the Premier League and decided to join Atletico Madrid instead, the Daily Star reports.

Agent Jorge Cyterszpiler admitted that a number of European clubs were chasing the striker last month with the youngster admitting that his desire was always to stay in the Spanish Liga.

"Everyone dreams to play alongside Messi. It would be a dream, of course," Vietto said last month.

"Winning a Championship with Argentina would be my top dream. Then, also having the chance that a big European club felt attracted by me is another great goal.

"But I know that I should train me well and take care of my diet. I know that if I do all that, then every dream will be achieve, God willing."
