Arsenal striker Joel Campbell set for Real Sociedad loan move

By

Arsenal striker Joel Campbell is set to join Real Sociedad on loan this summer.

The 22-year-old was loaned out to Villareal during last January's transfer window, scoring only one goal in 16 games for the Spanish side.

And according to the Daily Mail, boss David Moyes is interested in signing the Costa Rican on loan.

Last month, the striker admitted that he prefers to be loaned out rather than spending time on the bench at Arsenal.

"I renewed with Arsenal but in football you never known. After my [summer holidays] I will have to return to Arsenal," Campbell told After Foot RMC.

"I started the season [at Arsenal] with plenty of confidence after the World Cup but there was too much competence there.

"I was not going to have the playing time I wanted so I opted to go on loan to keep growing."
