Didier Drogba urges Arsenal and Real Madrid target to stay put

By

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba says goalkeeper Petr Cech should stay at the club.

Already linked with a possible move away from Stamford Bridge last summer, the 33-year-old is again set to be linked with a number of top European clubs during this summer's transfer window.

But the Ivorian has urged the Blues to keep the goalkeeper.

"I think the club should keep him because we know who Petr Cech is at this club," Drogba is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

"No matter what happens I think the club will respect his decision. If he wants to stay, he can stay. I think he is more than welcome here.

"If he wants to go it's his choice as well. It's up to him. But we want him to stay."
