Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says midfielder Mathieu Flamini could be in the squad to face Stoke City this week.
With Theo Walcott making his long-awaited comeback in the starting line-up on Sunday against Hull City, the Gunners will be hoping to recover more players ahead of the second part of the season.
"Mathieu Flamini could be back [next week against Stoke City]," Wenger said.
"Aaron Ramsey has a little chance. Nobody else. Mikel Arteta will be longer. I think Flamini should be available for selection and maybe Ramsey has a little chance to be back.
"There were some positive signs because he [Theo Walcott] was dangerous.
"You could see that he has not lost the quality of his runs and he looked dangerous. He lacks a little bit of competition and is not used to challenges but that will come. He has been out for a year. For what he has done after being out for a year, it's quite positive.
"[For Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain] it's just a knock, he should be alright."
After loaning out Lukas Podolski to Internazionale, the Gunners are also expected to let Yaya Sanogo leave during the January transfer window with Wenger revealing that a Premier League loan move would be ideal for the 21-year-old.
"Yaya is here at the moment," the Frenchman explained.
"Sanogo needs more experience at the top level in the Premier League. He's ready to play but we have so many options up front that it's difficult to play.
"Personally, I said that many times I prefer the Premier League [and] that's still the case."
