Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists the Gunners can still win the title but admits the next few weeks are pivotal for his side.
Arsenal are 13 points behind leaders Chelsea but the Frenchman says a strong run during the Christmas period could see them get back in the mix to win the Premier League.
"We want to have continuity," Wenger said.
"It's a very important period now. You start the Christmas period now and over the Christmas period you play four Premier League games.
"Can we have a good run over Christmas? I'm sure we will come back strongly in the league and when you get over the hill in January we look towards the end [of the season], so how you come out of the Christmas period is of course very important."
Asked to comment on Thierry Henry's retirement, the Frenchman added: "I would say he has had a massive career.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for what he has done for the club and what a huge success he has been for us.
"He was an exceptional football player, but as well a combination of a modern player, huge physical talent, technical talent, but as well special intelligence.
"He was not a contact player as so much as a typical centre forward.
"He was more a guy who used his intelligence to get away from people and his pace. He was one of the greatest players I've ever seen, and I've seen a few good ones."
