Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says there is no problem with Danny Welbeck's finishing.
The striker missed a number of chances on Tuesday evening against Borussia Dortmund including a very good opportunity blasted over after a sublime turn on the edge of the area.
"They were better and stronger than us in midfield, I agree with that." Wenger said in his post-match press conference.
"But it's very difficult on the night to go into any individual assessment of any players because as a team we were not at the requested level.
"He [Welbeck] will [finish], I don't think we have to make a problem with that"
"He had a very lively first half and he couldn't finish from his two or three good chances in the first half.
"We have to be patient [with him]."
The Gunners are yet to keep a clean sheet this season and the Frenchman was baffled as to why three Arsenal players could not stop striker Ciro Immobile when the Italian struck at the end of the first half.
"We had still three against one at the back [when we conceded the first goal] and that's still difficult to understand how we conceded," added Wenger.
"It's true that we lost the ball 80 metres from our goal but after that I think there were enough people to stop the goal."
