News and Analysis

What is required to become a regular member of the FastOneTwo.com team?
No experience is required to join our team but as you will surely understand you must possess good written skills and the eagerness to collaborate with your team manager to properly coordinate all published work.

Are there any commitments or contracts involved?
Absolutely not. You are free to stop collaborating with our website at any time although we would of course appreciate it if you could let us know beforehand in order for us to coordinate work after your departure.

I'm an Arsenal fan and want to rate players. Would these be classified under News and Analysis?
Absolutely. Player ratings, in-depth analysis, original statistics, this is all fresh and original content we would be more than happy to publish on our website.

Will I get paid?
No, all positions here at FastOneTwo.com are unpaid, voluntary roles. At least for the time being.

Blogger

What is required to become a blogger on FastOneTwo.com?
Contrary to the news and analysis section of our website, we are not "that" strict over your writing, spelling and grammar skills when applying for a blog and this is because the blog is yours, you decide the content and you decide the structure of the articles.

Clearly, this doesn't mean we allow bloggers to publish SMS-like articles with words such as "diz" or "4evr" or "dat" and this is because the number of available blogs per team is limited.

Also, and this seems almost superfluous to say, but unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, or otherwise objectionable blogs are not accepted.

What about my privacy?
When applying for a blog, the only information you will disclose is your e-mail address - the one from which you will send a sample of your work. We will never sell or share your e-mail address with third parties.

Before you're accepted, you will be asked to acknowledge that you are at least 13 years old, this is for us to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.

And when accepted, we give you the freedom to publish blogs using a pseudonym if you wish not to disclose your full name on our pages.

Will my blog be online as soon as I'm accepted?
No, and this is simply to avoid launcing an empty page on our platform. We usually launch a new blog after the blogger submits 15 articles, it's also a way for the blogger to understand if s/he is ready to commit to having his/her own blog on our platform.

Who decides the name of my blog?
As the blog owner, the choice of the name is up to you. You will also be asked to provide a 621 x 272 pixels image or photo to represent your space. We can ask our studio team to design it for you if you prefer.

Is it true I can have a blog on one of your non-featured teams such as Barcelona or Bayern Munich?
Yes, our platform allows you to blog on players and/or teams from England, Italy, Spain, Germany and France.

How many blogs do I have to publish per day?
There is no strict rule on how many blogs we expect from our bloggers, we simply ask you not to let the blog die and to therefore publish at least a blog every fortnight.

Also please make sure to stick to the subject, so if you're blogging on Manchester United, a blog about the beautiful holiday you spent in Ibiza would obviously be rejected.

Can I place my own advertising banners on my blog?
No.

What if one day I decide to move my blog elsewhere?
We fully understand that if your blog becomes successful you may one day decide to have it hosted on your own domain.

If you decide to do so, we will be more than happy to assist in the export and import of your articles, provided your new blogging platform is the same as ours. It might take longer if you decide to host on a new platform which differs from the one we use.

But rest assured that all your published blogs belong to you and we will try to make it as easy as possible for you to migrate.

Guest Blogger

What is required to become a guest blogger on FastOneTwo.com?
Contrary to the news and analysis section of our website, we are not "that" strict over your writing, spelling and grammar skills when submitting a guest blog and this is because the article is yours, you decide the content and you decide the structure.

How many blogs do I have to publish?
This is up to you. Contrary to regular blogs, we do not expect you to be active on a fortnightly basis so you are free to publish one blog per week just like you are free to publish one every three months.
